Import utf8-encoded csv file into Excel2011 for mac

Excel is not able to import accented characters from utf-8 encoded text (csv) file.

1. Use TextWrangler to open the file
2. Save is as UTF16-Little Endian
3. In Excel: import as Macintosh encoded file.
